Victory Records has added Charlotte, North Carolina's A Hero A Fake to their roster. Guitarist Eric Morgan has issued the following statement:
"Before I begin to talk details, I would just like to confess how fucking excited we are. Over the past four years, we have dedicated so much of our lives to creating music together. No joke, we totally sucked when we started. None of us knew what we were doing. However, over the years we have gained so much valuable information from our experiences. I would like to especially thank former members Evan Kirkley and Peter Gwynne for helping us evolve our sound to such a degree and being awesome friends/bandmates. Now for the details.
"Several of us are seniors in college (UNC, UNCC, BMW) and Victory NEVER signs bands that aren't ready to tour right away. However Victory owner Tony Brummel has given us a rare/awesome deal: Victory will be given soft launching our recently finished album on October 28th which will be distributed to all major stores like a regular Victory album. However are not required to tour until we graduate next spring. This gives us the opportunity to finish our last year of school and get our degrees! Therefore starting next June we will be touring our collective asses off. In the mean time, we'll still be playing shows in this region and doing mini tours during weekends and breaks.
"We are proud to join the Victory family. Although we consider this to be a huge accomplishment, it is only the beginning of a very fruitful chapter in the story of AHAF."
