Slayer to hold auditions for drummer

So you wanna join Slayer, huh? Well now's your chance. RollingStone.com is reporting that Slayer will be giving aspiring drummers the chance to replace recently departed Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph. In addition to providing a brief biography of themselves and a list of previous musical credits, candidates must videotape themselves playing ten classic Slayer tracks. The required tracks are "Disciple," "God Send Death," "Stain Of Mind," "Angel Of Death," "Post Mortem/Raining Blood," "South Of Heaven," "War Ensemble," "Seasons In The Abyess," "Hell Awaits," and "Chemical Warfare." Entries should be sent to: Slayer Drum Search Contest c/o RSMA Inc. 8981 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 102 Hollywood, CA 90069 The band will be holding three auditions for the opening: February 1st in Peoria, IL (tape must be in by 1/26), February 7th in Dallas (tape by 2/1), and February 13th in San Francisco (tape by 2/1). That's not much time to get your tapes in folks, so get going.
