Official press release:
Escapist Records is pleased to announce the addition of two of California's most promising hardcore bands to its roster: No Truce and Crucified. The two bands will be teaming up for a split CD/Digital EP. No Truce hail from Salinas, CA and deliver a punishing blend of metal-tinged hardcore with influences ranging from Buried Alive, Madball, Integrity, and Sick of it All. Crucified call the North Bay of CA home and draw influence from All Out War, Merauder, and Ringworm as they unleash blistering metallic hardcore.
The split CD was recorded, mixed, and mastered with Andy Kugler and Sam Pura at The Panda Studios (Heavy Heavy Low Low, These Days, Lose None). Artwork and layout for the release is currently being developed by Ryan Patterson of Auxiliary Design (Coliseum, Deathcycle, The Suicide File). Look for a release in the coming months and extensive touring in support throughout the year. In the meantime, you can preview a song from each artist from the upcoming split at the Escapist Records Myspace.
