God Forbid to enter studio in March

God Forbid is currently writing material for their next full-length. Several songs have been completed with roughly a dozen more underway. According to guitarist Doc Coyle, "The material so far is extremely varied. We have a really black metal influenced song, a sludgy, melodic opus, a much heavier 'Fallen Hero' type track, an epic Opeth inspired song, and a bunch of other awesome shit. Rock stuff, prog stuff, slow songs, thrash songs." Coyle adds, "Our goal has been to make an album that will not only be a landmark for God Forbid, but for heavy music in general." God Forbid will enter New Jersey's Trax East Recording Studio in March with producer/engineer Eric Rachel to begin tracking the new album, which should hit streets this summer via Century Media Records.
