i want to make murderous chili

It requires at least 1 habanero. I have put 2 in before but that's not a great idea

hell yeah

The key to tasty chili is to use a variety of hot peppers, and roast them up in the oven before you add them to the pot. 1 habanero is puss city

Slorb sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

Mrs slorb makes the best chili I've ever had. I'd put it up against anyone. That's one of her secrets to max flavor. It's like getting maced in the house when she does it, but it's worth it

She does poblanos, green chilies, jalapeños, habaneros and bell peppers

i have those. i always roast peppers before cooking with them. gotta take that trip to flavor town, baby

Habanero is the only one of those peppers that's hot, doofus

you guys aren't wrong about a variety of peppers, but don't forget the smoked chiles en lou of the chili powder. (2)ancho(2)guajillo(1)pasills ratio(by weight). take out the seeds/stems toast them on a hot surface for a minute to wake em up and they change colors a bit. pour boiling water over them in a container and cover for 30 min submerged. blend it in a blender. add lil bit at a time til its hot enough. thats how you turn your chili game up a notch and a half.
