Top Fifteen Stories on Lambgoat in 2021

A look at the most-viewed news stories in the metal and hardcore scene during the year 2021.

2021 Top News Stories

In some respects, last year may have been a continuation of 2020, but as far as the music industry is concerned, 2021 was far more prosperous. Concerts were no longer a thing of the past (at least in the quiet periods of Covid), and many bands harnessed their creativity and resumed work in the studio.

The Megadeth and Lamb Of God tour finally took place through late summer/early fall and grossed almost $8 million, while bands like Meshuggah and After The Burial spent significant time working on new music.

While 2021 was exciting for bands after living through almost an entire year sans live performances, some artists may have gotten too carried away, like the Brass Against vocalist who urinated on a fan on the first night of Florida's Welcome to Rockville festival.

Before we get too wrapped up in 2022, let us first reflect on the craziness that last year brought. Here are the fifteen most popular news stories Lambgoat posted in the year 2021:
