Slayer has asked fans to ignore any Westboro Baptist Church protests outsite the Jeff Hanneman Memorial Celebration.
Slayer has requested that fans ignore protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church should they show up at today's Jeff Hanneman Memorial Celebration (the church recently announced plans to do so). The band had the following to say:
Message to fans: Want to really piss off the Westboro Baptist Church at Jeff's Memorial Celebration? Do exactly what Slayer members and family are going to do - totally ignore them. They don't exist. And then come inside and celebrate Jeff's life with us.
