The Dillinger Escape Plan performed without singer Greg Puciato yesterday, and some interesting things happened.
This past weekend The Dillinger Escape Plan performed at GWAR-B-Q in Virginia. Unfortunately, frontman Greg Puciato was not present. Fortunately, DEP made the best of a lousy situation. Here's a little write-up and some video links, courtesy of reader Kenny Roberts:
Greg Puciato's flight got cancelled and the audience were understandably upset about it. To make up for it, they had Bruce Lamont (of Bloodiest/Corrections House/Yakuza) on saxophone to help, seen here:
Luckily enough, they even had a random audience member, Dylan Lawson (of Asylum, Dismantle the Architect, and Gage Asylum, all of which are local Richmond, Virginia bands) provide vocals on three songs, including "When I Lost My Bet" and the fan-favorite "Sunshine the Werewolf," and both the audience and band loved it!
