Based in Rhode Island, As The Sun Sets played a blistering amalgam of grind/metal influenced hardcore. The band has released one full length that is available from Moment of Clarity Records (distributed by Trash Art!), as well as one on Undecided Records. The band released one final EP on Trash Art! in June of 2002 shortly after breaking up. Several members went on to form Daughters. Drawing comparisons to Converge, Maharhaj, and Rorschach, fans of grind-influenced hardcore should like what they hear here. read less
