Lumberjack Mordam Music Group, Inc. (created by the combination of Lumberjack Distribution, Inc. and Mordam Records, Inc.) announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Lookout! Records. The label will be part of LMMG¹s Mordam Label Group. Lookout! is leaving RED Distribution after several years with the New York-based distributor.

Dirk Hemsath, CEO and President of LMMG says that he is especially excited about the new label signing. "The day we finished the acquisition of Mordam I knew that we needed to bring Lookout! back into the fold. Mordam was the original home for Lookout! and both companies benefited dramatically during their formative years from the collaboration. Also, Lumberjack had been distributing Lookout!'s EPs and vinyl for over three years now so the relationship had already been built. We've also been distributing Lookout!'s side label, Panic Button, for the last eight months. Lookout! is one of the great record labels of our time and I believe that they only have better things to come in the future."

Chris Appelgren, the head of Lookout!, says, "This month we start exclusive distribution through Lumberjack Mordam. It's kind of a homecoming as Mordam Records was our distributor for the first 12 years of Lookout's operation and I am very positive about what this will mean for the label moving forward.
