San Diego, California death metallers Burning The Masses have parted ways with frontman David Montenegro. The group has issued the following:

"We have currently said our goodbyes to good friend/ex-vocalist, David Montenegro. We appreciate all that he has put forth and give him all our respects. We wish him a bright future and hope to see him rise in the music industry. This was a decision that all four of us had made. Good luck brotha.

"Now, we DO have a current back-up vocalist. We will be announcing him as soon as we put up a new song on Myspace. Most of you may be familiar with him or some of you won't. But we feel confident. So keep it metal and were going to give you the most killer album of 2010!"
