Pristina to release new album in February

Official press release:

Pristina's (ex-100 Demons, Invocation of Nehek, A Thousand Falling Skies) long-delayed new LP called "The Drought (Ov Salt and Sorrow)" will finally be released via Bombfarm Records this February. The album was recorded by Steve Austin (of Today Is The Day) and singer Brendan K. Duff. Steve Austin also mixed and engineered. Appearing on "The Drought" are Steve Austin himself, Rennie Resmini (Starkweather) and Scott Angelicos (Bloodlet).

The album will be released on limited edition vinyl. The cover can be seen here.

In other news, Pristina is halfway finished with another full-length, due out in 2010. The album (Title TBA) will most likely be produced by Jimmy Bower of EyeHateGod/Down fame.

Finally, Pristina recently welcomed a new second guitar player, JP Fernandes from singer Brendan's former band A Thousand Falling Skies.
