Official press release:
Pure Noise Entertainment has announced the release of a split 7" featuring East Coast compatriots

Man Overboard. The 7"s will be available in limited collector colors including red white and blue (all three colors available as a package deal for $12.00). Pure Noise's online store is can be found
here. The 7" comes with digital downloads of the songs or digital copy can be purchased at all digital outlets.
Speaking on the split 7" format which is a rarity nowadays, Justin of Man Overboard said, "I think too many bands are content with sticking to the model of recording a demo EP and then getting into full-lengths every year or year a half. A lot of the bands we grew up listening to gave us a lot of different material to check out whether it was singles, splits, 7"s or whatever so we are trying to bring it back."
Massachusetts own Transit blend melodic emo with hardcore power. Among their influences is Lifetime, Braid and Hot Water Music. They have toured with A Loss For Words and The Wonder Years and are good friends with Man Overboard. Transits last EP, "Stay Home," was hailed as one of Punknews.orgs Most Anticipated Releases of 2009. -
