Official press release:

Creators of a progressive-minded extreme metal, Montreal's juggernauts Augury (Nuclear Blast Records) sadly report the departure of their drummer Antoine Baril.

States Baril: "I'm very sad to have to announce my departure from Augury. Some personal and professional reasons have made multiple tours impossible for me at the moment. I wish all the best for Augury because those wonderful guys are making incredibly good music. I will never forget those memorable shows and I would like to thank everyone for their support on the road everywhere we've been on tour."

States the band: "Augury thanks Antoine for all the good times and excellent music, and we wish him well in all aspects of his life. He will remain a close friend for all of us. For the upcoming tour with Vader [in support of their new album Fragmentary Evidence], drummer Robin 'Frog' Stone from Australian industrial metal mad scientists The Amenta will take over the drum throne. He is a very tight and skilled drummer, having learned our set in a matter of hours. Click here to see a video of Robin in action. We have a new drummer ready in Montreal for the upcoming tours. Videos and name will be revealed soon."
