Trustkill Records has officially signed Dayton, Ohio's
The Great American Beast. Formed in early-2008 from the ashes of
The Red Affair, the band released a five-song EP in 2008.
Bassist Pete DiSalvo comments: "I couldn't think of a better way to spend my 25th birthday weekend than celebrating signing to Trustkill Records, a label that really shows that they want us as much as we want them. It's a really nice feeling knowing that your band is appreciated by the people that matter."
The group's debut full-length, titled "Domestic Blood," was recorded last summer at
Random Awesome! Recording Studio in Saginaw, MI with producer
Josh Schroeder (
See You Next Tuesday). Trustkill will release the effort in early-2010. In the meantime, you can check out the band online
