Louisiana band As Cities Burn has officially broken up. Since their inception in 2002, the group has gone from releasing post-hardcore material with Solid State Records to releasing indie rock via label parent, Tooth & Nail Records.

The band comments: "As Cities Burn has broken up. We are happily moving on after six good years. Our lives and our wives have called us in different directions. Thanks to anyone who has come out to a show, had words to say, or bought a CD to help us fill the tank."
