Official press release:

Canada's Aeternam has joined the Metal Blade Records roster. Formed in 2007 in Quebec City, Aeternam has been preparing to unleash their very own brand of epic death metal upon the world. Combining classic death metal songwriting with epic melodic soloing and middle-eastern influences, Aeternam has fine-tuned its craft and made it into a perfect blend of brutality and melody. Their first studio release, Disciples of the Unseen, was produced by mastermind JeF Fortin (Neuraxis, The Last Felony). The album contains 10 tracks of pure intensity, crushing riffs, pounding bass lines and brutal growls paving the way for epic solos, acoustic melodies, ambient keyboards and large vocal harmonies. Fans of Behemoth, Nile and Melechesh will most certainly find something about this band to enjoy.

Aeternam comments: "We are very excited and proud to see our debut album come out on Metal Blade and what could be more fitting for us to be labelmates with such bands as Behemoth and Cannibal Corpse. A lot of inspiration and work went into creating Disciples of the Unseen and we cannot wait to present it to the worldwide metal scene. We'll soon be on the road to promote the album and we can't wait to bring this monster to the stage."

"This is one of those rare bands that was an absolute no brainer for us to bring on board and has everyone at Metal Blade unanimously excited about the possibilities. The sheer amount of talent and creativity inherent in this band is refreshing. We look forward to working together on this and many future albums!" - Metal Blade Records
