Red Sparowes is currently hard at work on a new album. The band has completed demos of seven new songs to date and tentatively plans to enter the studio in August to record the effort. An early-2010 release is expected.

Meanwhile, the group will release their "Aphorisms" 12"/DVD this fall. Final edits are underway and according to the band, the release will include three songs and a full narrative storyline for each.

Finally, Red Sparowes is currently "starting the groundwork" for a full U.S. tour to take place next spring, in addition to a subsequent European tour. In the interim, the group will play a handful of U.S. shows in October and November, the details of which will be announced shortly.
