Herod will release an EP titled "Curse of the King" in June via Dark Harvest Records. The effort is the band's first new material in three years and is comprised of four new tracks in addition to a cover. Recording was handled by It Dies Today guitarist Mike Hatalak, with assistance from former Herod vocalist Judah Nero.
The group comments: "Every band says their new release is their best, and we will have to follow in the same manner. This CDEP encapsulates every era of the band, as well as breaks new ground. So, if you enjoyed any or all Herod has had to offer in the past, you won't be disappointed, and you will be floored at some of the tricks we have had up our sleeves."
