NYC godfathers of sludge Negative Reaction have announced the recent return of drummer, John "Old Mac" MacDonald to the fold. He is considered by many to be the definitive Negative Reaction drummer, having played on their landmark "Under The Ancient Penalty" CD.

As the band continues gigging in support of their newest doom metal classic "Tales From The Insomniac" (Spare Change Records) they are also working on new material for an upcoming four-way split CD with soon to be announced bands.
