BIOGRAPHICAL DATA: Originally a four-piece, California's Eighteen Visions quickly became a quintet and began to write material for the band. After a few years of trial and error, as well as personnel changes, the band would release its first CD in late-1997, entitled "Lifeless," on Life Sentence Records. Following the album, the band was slated to release a split 7" with Belgium's Deformity on the same label, but the deal unfortunately fell though. After a brief tour on the West Coast, the band was on the verge of calling it quits, when a mutual friend offered to record a full-length for Cedargate Records. Eighteen Visions quickly agreed, and from there, the band would continue to grow its fanbase, and eventually find a new home with New Jersey's Trustkill Records. Since then, 18 Visions has released a 7" ("No Time For Love"), and three full-lengths ("Until the Ink Runs Out", "The Best of...", and "Vanity"). Fans of metalcore, with an emphasis on metal and even some newfound elements of rock, should check them out. Members of 18 Visions can also be found in Throwdown and Bleeding Through.
