BIOGRAPHICAL DATA: When Deadguy partially disbanded, the two members who decided to head toward Seattle formed Kiss It Goodbye (KIG). With a sound comparable to its predecessor, the band would record its demo in 1996, and then would be quickly picked up by Revelation Records. In early-1997, the band's debut full-length, "She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not," would be released. The band would tour, expanding its zealous fanbase with its sonic and noisy musical assault, coupled with frontman Tim Singer's strained and maniacal vocals. Shortly after, KIG would release a its "Preacher/Target Practice" 7", which featured two unreleased tracks from the full-length recording session. The band's final legacy, "Choke," which was originally slated for Sub-Pop, finally showed up on Revelation. At this point, the band featured new guitarist Demian Johnston, and the release would include two new tracks, along with the bands only other 7". Much to the dismay of listeners and fans, KIG would disband in late-1998. Fans of noisy hardcore in the vein of Deadguy and Unsane should take a listen here. Members of KIG can be found in Playing Enemy. --bio may contain outdated information--
