BIOGRAPHICAL DATA: Drawing its name from the book of Revelation, Wisconsin's metalcore upstarts, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, have stormed onto the hardcore and metal scene with their full-length, "Jhazmyne's Lullaby," on Uprising Records (Racetraitor, Kid Gorgeous). Playing a devastating mix of hardcore, metal, and even melodic emo, the band draws comparisons to Blood Has Been Shed, Hopesfall, and Poison the Well. Prior to its latest release, 7A7P also published a self-released CD, "Until the Day Breathes and the Shadows Flee" (2000). Fans of the new melodic strain of metalcore should definitely check out this young and promising act.
