Frequently Asked Questions
These are questions we're asked repeatedly. But that's ok, we don't mind. It makes us feel wanted. However, rather then waste your time asking and our time answering on an individual basis, we've posted them below. Of course if you have a question that isn't answered below, don't hesitate to email us.

Where did the name Lambgoat come from?
The real story behind the name is shocking, controversial, shameful, and devoid of ingenuity. We can't say. For the record though, the name was NOT derived from any Integrity lyrics.

Do you guys make money doing this?
Through advertising, we make enough to pay for hosting and other miscellaneous necessities. We also make a little bit extra. However, we're not driving sports cars and living in Malibu. Hardcore is not a cash-cow. If you're looking for money, look elsewhere. We're not making a living through this site. Then again, we heard those guys at Pahardcore have a lot of money, so maybe we're doing something wrong.

Can Lambgoat promote my band?
We're not a publicity firm. We do not promote bands per se. However, if we hear your stuff and think it's amazing, we will do our best to get your name out there. Don't call us though, we'll call you.

Why is [insert name here] one of your featured bands?
This is one of the great aspects of having one's own site. If we choose to feature a band like Clutch, regardless of how non-hardcore and non-metal they are, there's nothing anyone can do about it. We sincerely believe that most of our featured bands are up your alley, but yes, there is the occasional oddball. Oh well.

Can you add a link to my site on your links page?
Possibly, but probably not. Please go here for more information.

How can I get a record reviewed on Lambgoat?
This question is asked quite frequently, so it's got its own page.

How does one go about advertising on Lambgoat?
Would you be shocked if we told you this topic also warrants its own page? - advertising
